It was incredibly central with a short walk to restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and the Marylebone High Street. It was also a short walk to Oxford Street with excellent shopping and the Bond Street Underground Station which could take us anywhere in the city.

Room service was poor We tried to use it I. A couple of occasions and nobody replied.

We had to wait 30 minutes when ordering drinks at the bar, even though we informed we had a dinner reservation. When we left the bartender made an irritated comment. Not the standard nor the staff you expect from a 5 star hotel.

The location was great. The food was also nice. Farouk from in-house dining was very helpful

The bathroom was too small.

Room was far to small for a couple. Was very disappointed as stayed many times before but this has put us off. I mentioned it to reception but it was just shrugged off.

Hotel very nice and clean and great location for Oxford Street. Bathrooms where very tiny and struggle to get in and shut the door, certainly can not have 2 people in there. Swimming pool was very nice however open to the public so full of lane swimmers and kids private swimming lessons, therefore certainly wasn't good for relaxing and a spa break. Overall very nice place and would recommend.

Bathrooms to small. Pool is to small and full of general public therefore not exactly the best for spa breaks and relaxing.

The spa and third space gym are great for relaxing and working out. The location is fantastic. The outdoor seating spaces in the bar and restaurant are perfect for summer days.

This was our 3rd stay at the Marylebone - my husband and I stayed for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. It took us a long time to check in and then we were given the wrong room type, we asked to change to the room we booked and got a nice room but the bed was queen size even though we booked a king size bed and the last 2 times we stayed at the property we had a king size bed with the same room type. The front desk staff and manager were unaccommodating the manager told us that he had a room available with a king size bed (it was 11pm by then) but he wanted us to pay to upgrade although the previous time we stayed we had a king size bed in a deluxe room and didn’t pay extra. We didn’t want to pay unnecessarily so he didn’t move us - he would rather have an empty room than a happy customer. I didn’t like the way we were treated. It’s a great property but the staff aren’t service oriented.

The hotel is situated in a peaceful area 2 to 3 blocks away from Oxford Road, thus providing easy access to all shopping and touring desires. The Receptionist Antje was fantastic, a superb host and ambassador of the hotel, went out of her way to ensure we got a room to our liking and specifications as requested on the booking, and even threw in complimentary breakfast. The hotel amenities are of high standard and the staff are friendly and warm will most definitely stay at the hotel again.

Swimming pool facilities complicated. Other end of building with complicated access and signing in procedures. Obviously externalised and better for external gym/swimming users. Pool divided into lanes and all lanes taken up by serious swimmers.

Times on drink service but this is by no means criticism as the staff were fantanstic. Would have been good to receive drinks a little sooner after order.

Location is excellent. close to the west end and oxford street - very central!

The hotel was having a bad day when we arrived, and the staff were clearly quite frazzled. There was a long queue at reception so we had to wait quite a while to check in and then found our room wasn't ready (at 5.30pm). We had dinner reservations at 7.15pm so this was not ideal. However, the team gave us 50% discount on the price of our stay and left an apology card and bottle of Prosecco in the room. They worked hard to rectify the problem. Other than that, the bathroom was very small and we had travelled from Australia and around Europe for almost 4 weeks so had big suitcases and we struggled with space in the room. If you have smaller suitcases/less luggage the room size would be fine.

The location of the hotel is great

We had stayed multiple times at this hotel in the past years with no major issues, but this time we really didnt think we got a good service. The first three nights were a nightmare. The first room we were given was very sad looking, with almost no light (facing a wall on second floor), needed urgent refurbishment etc. Then we were promised to be given a room on the 4th floor the next day, but the room was not made ready on time. And when we came back at night (with our toddler and i am pregnant), we were told that our new room was on the 3rd floor! Totally unprofessional front desk, our luggage and baby cot were not yet moved to the new room, total chaos...so we asked for an upgrade and at the end we were moved to a studio on 7th floor that night. Nice larger room but with no curtains! Only very cheap blinds covering the windows, so we all woke up at 5am for the next two mornings, lacking sleep...So we had to ask for changing rooms again and we were given a nice studio on the 6th floor with curtains...the room was comfortable but this time shower had very weak water pressure, which really doesnt fit a four star hotel quality at all... While the management made a real effort to make us comfortable after our third night at the hotel, i would not go back...All rooms certainly need renovation, and front desk staff certainly need better training and care for their guests...

The pool closed early and the age limit of 17 is far too high. The room was cleaned very late, but there may be a good reason for that. Excellent hotel, would come back anytime
